Lupine Creative Consulting was founded in 2004 by Julius G. Goepp, MD and Tiesha D. Johnson, RN. With over 30 years of healthcare delivery and research experience between them, they aspired to utilize experiences in healthcare and Participatory Action Research (PAR) to contribute to improving individual, family and community outcomes in healthcare as well as ordinary life settings.
Lupine’s original focus was on reducing health disparities and expanded to consulting with and providing educational workshops to facilities to assist with program development and to smaller companies to assist with healthcare product and service development.
The company name reflects our founders’ family names, both Wolf and to represent our personal and professional philosophy. The Wolf (Canis lupus) is a powerful and magnificent animal with a strong personality trait for forming emotional attachments with others. Canis lupus is a pack animal that demonstrates a team approach to surviving and thriving. The wolf actually has an innate aversion to fighting and aggression and will even intervene to stop fighting between others. It is a very intelligent and adaptable animal and that has the most important and best quality an animal can have....it's a dog!
The Lupine (Lupinus) is a flowering plant and legume. As with all legumes, it fortifies the soil in which it grows. The Lupine is often the first plant to appear after a forest fire. It's a hearty plant that reseeds itself, stands tall and regal in bloom. At Lupine Creative Consulting, we aim to integrate the best of both of these “Lupine” models: strength with beauty, loyalty with restoration, nobility with beauty. We believe these traits, when actualized, offer our clients exceptional results.
Individuals, communities, and organizations moving toward better physical, social, economic, and environmental health.
To identify and respond to health outcomes valued by individuals, communities, and organizations in pursuit of innovative solutions that meet genuine identified needs.
